KDR is licensed to handle approved asbestos waste. Asbestos work must be discussed with our team before booking so that the correct handling, transport and disposal requirements can be confirmed.
Asbestos must never be placed in a standard general-waste skip bin. It is only accepted as a dedicated, bagged unit (see Waste Types) or as part of a rubbish-removal job that KDR has confirmed in advance.
The waste type you choose does two things: it sets the price for that bin size, and it decides which sizes you can book at all. Not every type is offered in every bin.
It also sets what can legitimately go in. A green-waste bin is for vegetation only, and a bricks-and-concrete bin is for clean material — putting general rubbish in either means the load is no longer that waste type. If your load genuinely mixes materials, general household or building waste is usually the honest choice, even where a cleaner category looks cheaper.
Bagged asbestos sits outside this table: it is hired as a dedicated bagged unit by prior arrangement with KDR, not as one of the standard bins above. If the size you want is not offered for your waste type, call KDR rather than booking a type that does not match the load.
